What do I wear?

A question I am often asked, with regards to our wedding is what should I wear? Some of our friends have asked if it would be "ok" if they dressed up in costume for the wedding, others are just unsure of what to expect in general and want to know what to plan for. We have no preference as to the attire of our guests. If you would like to wear a pirate or halloween costume, please feel free. In the spirit of a fun filled weekend, we do not feel it is necessary to institute a dress code.
Since our wedding is rather untraditional, I have decided that I will not be wearing a traditional wedding gown. I also knew that I didn't really want to wear a pirate costume either because I do want to feel somewhat "bridal". I was enjoying a fun weekend with my crazy knitting girlfriends when I spotted the perfect "pirate" wedding dress. As fate would have it, I found the perfect dress at a small boutique at the beach! A picture of the dress can be viewed HERE.

We Set a Date!...(finally)

Hello Everyone! We've finally set a date for our wedding! After a 5 year engagement (who's counting anyway) we've decided how we want to celebrate our big day.
The date: October 13th 2007
The location: Las Vegas!

With bicoastal families and friends all over the country, we decided to pick a neutral location. Our goal, aside from the wedding, is to have a fun weekend with family and friends. Las Vegas is perfect, besides where else can you get married on a Pirate Ship? No, really, we are getting married on the Pirate Ship at Treasure Island. Save the Date everyone!
